All permanent makeup procedures require a MINIMUM of 2 sessions. Some some conditions, medications and skintypes will require additional touchups. Form on the permanent makeup page must be submitted before appointment will be accepted. You must follow all pre-appointment restrictions.

Feel free to wear your brows the way to like them to your appointment! This will help me determine the final shape!

Pictures posted immediately after procedure often have redness and swelling present. This is normal and will subside within a few hours of the procedure. Additionally, all techniques typically fade by between 30-60% depending on skin type and procedure and aftercare. Pictures right after are much darker than the final healed result!

Once you book I will text you with the precare and intake questions. You MUST THOROUGHLY read this document and comply with the precare information as well as provide the requested information within 24 hours. Lately I have a lot of clients not reading this document and coming in with coffee or having not discontinued anti-aging products. You WILL be sent home and your deposit forfeit. The document is sent for a reason not because I like to waste my time typing things up.

Brow Tattoo Techniques

Powder Brow

Powder brow is a semi permanent tatooing technique meant to replicate the look of powder to create a filled in look using a small tattoo machine designed for permanent makeup. This technique implants thousands of tiny pixels into the brow to build up a soft powdery look. This can be very subtle with a very light powder effect which will cast a light shadow under the brow or it can also be more intense for more of a makeup look.

This technique is more ideal for mature skin, those with previous pmu, oily skin, those with thin or sensitive skin.

These results can last between 2-3 years.

What to expect during your appointment

Brows are done in two sessions. The initial appointment will be around 2 hours so please plan accordingly.

-the first 30-45 minutes will be brow mapping. During this portion I will map out the brows, attain your approval and check for symmetry.

-clean up the brow using tweezers, scissors and an electric trimmer.

-dot around the shape using surgical marker to ensure the shape is not wiped away.

-numbing and paperwork

-first pass. A pass is the completion of microblading strokes or machine shading to 1 brow.

-pigment mask. I will spread pigment over the brow to sit as I move to the other brow.

-first pass of second brow.

-pigment mask.

-this will continue back and forth from brow to brow until they are complete

-once the initial work has been completed I will mask both brows again for 10 minutes.

-next I will clean both brows and have you sit up so that I can check them.

-I will then put an after care sealer on the brow and set you free!

Healing

I highly recommend reviewing the below healing information BEFORE scheduling as there are usually a few "ugly" phase days where you'll not want to schedule a dinner or family party.  With proper after care this phase is really only noticeable to you and anyone who is only inches from you however the brows will be darker than normal to everyone who normally knows you.

1. expect the brows to be a bit darker than you would like immediately after the appointment as they will lighten up to 30-60%

2. around days 3-5 they will begin to scab. During this phase they will darken a bit more. Scabs usually form in 1 large scab that slowly breaks up into a bunch of tiny chunks.

-scabbing should not be thick. This is usually a sign of improper aftercare. Typically they will be very thin and flaky, similar to a sun burn peeling.

3. Expect the skin below the scabs to be light and sometime appear as if the brows were never tattood. Don't freak out, as long as you didn't pick the scabs this is part of the process!

-sometimes during this phase it can look a little crazy since parts of the brow have darker scabs and some parts are light and have fresh skin. NO MAKEUP. This is where its important to schedule your appointments properly comes into play

4. After scabbing as stated above expect the tattood area to be much lighter than before.

5. between weeks 2 and 4 (up to week 6 or 8 for those who heals slower ie diabetics) the color will slowly start to "come back" and begin to darken up abit.

The brows are NOT fully healed for a minimum of 28 days, regardless of how they appear. Dont forget there are 2 sessions required for a reason so they are not done until 28 days after the second session.
